In January I turned 40!
Here are my thoughts on the big 4-0!
*Now that I am 40 I am going to enjoy every minute of life. Have fun, be crazy, do silly things. Laugh!
*Now that I am 40 I am going to stop questioning and just do what I know is right for me, for us, for our family.
*Now that I am 40 I know that a good laugh and a good night sleep are cures for most things.
*Now that I am 40 I know that I have it within me to get where I want to be. I just need to do it.
*Now that I am 40 I will apologise when I should and let go what I can't change or have no control over.
*Now that I am 40 I will love more and (try) to worry less - yes. I am a worrier.

*Now that I am 40 I will love more and (try) to worry less - yes. I am a worrier.
*Now that I am 40 I am going to make sure I cleanse, tone and moisturise daily. I guess eye cream will become one of my best friends, too.
*Now that I am 40 I am sinking into who I am and being comfortable and proud of myself.
*Now that I am 40 I want to share my thoughts fearlessly and be proud of my personal opinions and ideas.
*Now that I am 40 I have to get over my nerves when I speak in front of people and just do it.
*Now that I am 40 I count my blessings - my life, my family, my friends, my health. I am one lucky girl.
*Now that I am 40 I want to find some 'me' time - time to read, time to knit, time to sew.
*Now that I am 40 I know the importance of friends and family and the impact they have on my life. I want to make a bigger effort to write special notes to them and let them know just how important they are to me.
*Now that I am 40 I realise the fragility of life. In general, we have no control of what happens we can only control how we react to the life we have been given.
*Now that I am 40 I have embraced being 4ft 11inches (152cm). Apparently I will only shrink from here on in.
*Now that I am 40 I realise how important personal stories are and what they stand for. I want to write down my story for safekeeping so I can share them with future generations.
*Now that I am 40 I cannot wait to see what the next 40+ years have install for me. If it's as good as the 40 I've just had I am one lucky girl.
Celebrating my birthday with my family.
